We have an urgent requirement for Mainframe Developer with ALC to COBOL Conversion in
Job Title: Mainframe Developer with ALC to COBOL Conversion
Location:
Duration: 6+ Months

Interview: Phone + F2F
Description:
Support ALC to COBOL conversion - an Agency wide initiative. Candidate will work independently to enhance FERMAT product. FERMAT is an automated tool that convert Assembler code into the Enterprise COBOL.
Skills Requirements:
� Expert-level COBOL and Mainframe knowledge.
� At least 10 years of mainframe experience. Exposure to Z/OS.
� Full SDLC experience with strong development mainframe skills including detail designs, coding standards and unit test scripts with expected results.
� Experience with TSO/ISPF, ENDEVOR, JCL, and EXPEDITOR.
� Exposure to InterTest or similar tools.
� The candidate must have experience with CICS, JCL and Utilities.
� VSAM, Easytrieve or Analogous.
� Self-starter, highly motivated individual required who can adapt to changes in client requirements.
� Excellent communications skills to clearly and effectively convey issues, solutions and other deliverables to SSA counterparts are required
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science or related field
