Project Manager
MUST HAVE R12 Oracle Application EXP.
Contract Project Manager to professionally manage the project plan, budget, resourcing, communications and quality deliverables across the Client technology and accounting services. Contractor will adhere to all Technology Solution Life Cycle (TSLC) deliverables and SOX project criteria. PMI experience and or certification desired.
January 1, 2010 through September 31st, 2010
Oracle Database technical upgrades for AR Oracle and National Accounting Oracle Financials Application (NAOFA). Oracle Financials Application technical and functional upgrade for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Purchasing, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Oracle Projects, Financial Numbering Control Master and Foreign Post Settlement Sub-Ledger
Oracle Database will upgrade from 9 to 10
Oracle Financials Application will upgrade from 11.5.9 to R12
Investigation, analysis, requirements gathering, process development, design, development, systems integration testing, training development and execution, customer acceptance testing, implementation and project close practices expected
The project deliverable shall meet the following acceptance criteria in addition to compliance with the technical approach outlined below:
· Compliance to SOX
· TSLC documentation completed and stored
· No unplanned impact relating to business down time
· Project schedule is kept so that weekly project status can be professionally communicated – project deliverable timelines are met
· All project issues are resolved and risks mitigated
· Project budget is established and met
· Resources are managed to task and budget
· Communications are consistent and accurate to all members of the project as appropriate. Communication plan is established and followed
· Project follows an approach of investigation and analysis to define and formalize project deliverable scope
· USPS Financial Change Control Board is leveraged for all project phase or stage approvals
· Cross functional management is practiced across technical, headquarters, portfolio and accounting service center team members
