Very Strong experience in Netezza, Microstrategy, Oracle, UNIX with shell scripting.   Please click on the Req ID to respond.   Req-0426 - Netezza/Oracle DBA Skills:  Description:  Responsibilities: 1. Manage all database objects in Capital Market Data Store Netezza data warehouse, throughout project release life cycle. 2. Monitor databases and perform tuning enhancements to optimize performance of Netezza database, supporting MicroStrategy reporting and other interfacing applications. Develop and maintain utilities to automate problem determination, change implementation, and monitoring activities. 3. Analyze business problems as part of a team, and design and implement data models that meet business requirements. Support ongoing application development. 4. Participate as a team-member in data management strategies. Integrate data architecture with appropriate components of the extended enterprise, transaction factories, and the data warehouse. 5. Participate in data-sourcing, import and data validation activities. 6. Provide database change and release management. 7. Coordinate all Netezza and Oracle system changes with the System DBA team. Requirements / Qualifications: 1. 4+ years of experience as a Netezza DBA with proven performance tuning skills (SQL, database and system); 8+ years of DBA experience 2. Experience with Oracle 10g administration and performance tuning 3. In-depth knowledge on data warehousing and OLTP designs and concepts 4. Strong UNIX OS and scripting experience 5. Excellent communication and teamworking skills 6.
