I'm quite amazed! Before answering you now, I checked by sending a couple of
messages from a non-member address to a group I'm owning. I received no
communication from Google. In that group, settings are (let's try if it this

Hi, Whilst I agree with Aldo's comment that "message templates are not a
Google group feature", you do have ways around what you want to achieve,
although it does require a little bit of activity on your part (which is all
part of an Owner's/Manager's responsibility anyway). First of all, when you

Somehow messages that haven't been approved by me or the other manager are
regularly being posted to the entire group. The settings say that all posts
have to be approved by a manager and only the other manager and I have
overrides, but all sorts of things are going out to everyone. Any ideas on

I have a very small group. I added a new member directly at his request (he
didn't seem to be able to deal with responding to the invite), but it came
through without his being able to post to the group. I want to edit his
membership to either let him be able to post to the group, or I want to delete

Age restriction - 2 new

Whenever my group (nerdsinternational.google.com ) is accessed, it poses the
age restriction screen to check if the user is over 18, and I really need it
changed. The group has absolutely no adult content at all, and is not marked

with one of them showing 31 Dec 1969 as the joined date. I can't unsubscribe
