Oracle Database Administrator

 

Location: Sacramento, CA

 

Duration: 1 year

 

Mandatory Skills Required:

Ø      5+ years of Oracle DBA experience is required

Ø      The proposed consultant must have the following:

Ø      The proposed consultant must be Oracle certified Professional or Oracle Certified Master

Ø      Oracle DBA work experience;

Ø      Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Oracle 10g environment;

Ø      Experience in performance tuning of Oracle databases;

Ø      Experience in setting up database backup/recovery process and systems;

Ø      Experience with Oracle’s Data Migration, Data Movement, and Data Loading

Ø      Software Tools;

Ø      Experience in PL/SQL;

Ø      Experience in Data Guard Software Release 10.2;

Ø      Experience with RAC technologies and Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control

Ø      Experience with the SunGard and Power Costs, Inc systems that support the water and energy scheduling and accounting in coordination with CAISO;

Ø      An understanding of California’s deregulated market and Market Redesign Technology Upgrade;

Ø      Technical documentation writing;

Ø      Good written and verbal communication skills
