BUSINESS OBJECTS DEVELOPER

 

Client:          Oil and Gas

Location:      Houston, TX

Duration:      6months

Rates:          $50/hr all inclusive

 

******Please make sure the Business objects candidates have the SAP BW exp – this is a MUST have  ********

 

 

 

• Minimum of eight (8) years total experience with a minimum of four (4) years current experience designing & developing Business Objects universes and reports
• Experience with Business Objects XI
• Experience with SAP BW
• Energy Trading Experience
• Experience with multiple RDBMS platforms (Oracle, MS/SQL, Sybase)
• Strong SQL skills
• Ability to accurately estimate report development work
• Ability to make correct design decisions for report development
• A demonstrated record of success in the development and implementation of application systems in a high availability and reliability environment
• Experience with large data warehouse data models

 

Strongly Preferred:

• Understanding of Business Intelligence best practices 
• Experience with production support in a BO environment
• Experience with energy commodity trading highly desirable
• Experience with migration and upgrade of Business Objects
• Experience in Performance Tuning of SQL
