Job Title: Business Analyst – Data Migration

Required skills/knowledge

Responsibilities: Build and maintain critical linkages between the customer business/product/application teams (who define business needs in product BRDs) and the Data Analysts, who are tasked with delivering Data Mappings based on the specified business requirements.

Defining, clarifying, translating, enhancing, and explaining business rules based on business needs and requirements of the Business teams.

Effectively capturing and communicating these learning to the Data Analysts.

Solicit requirements through interviews, meetings, and/or existing systems documentation or procedures.

Creation and/or revision of the following analysis artifacts and deliverables:

o Process Maps.

o Business Rules.

o User Stories/ User Flows.

o Acceptance Tests.

Skills: Detailed experience in interfacing with Business teams in a banking/data migration environment and a strong understanding of banking applications.

Pro-active, driven, and customer focused, with a commitment to delivering on schedule and with quality.

Ability to engage and work closely with the Business teams and Subject Matter Expert(s)

Experience in identifying requirements via industry standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling, workflow analysis, and functional decomposition analysis.
