Description
This position will provide senior consultant level workstation support services for DWD and DCF staff located throughout the State of Wisconsin. The work involved could include activities such as keeping software at current levels, patch management, software licensing, researching & installing new &/or additional hardware/software, researching, piloting, installing and maintaining options for remote connectivity (Wireless, Virtual Private Network (VPN)), and use of collaboration tools to disperse information (SharePoint). Hardware/Software environment includes MS OS (XP or higher); I.E. 6.0 or higher; LANDesk v8.7 or higher; LANDesk Patch Management toolset vn.n or higher; Scripting Tools (AdminStudio, VBA, WinBatch); MS SharePoint (WSS & MOSS); MS Project 2007 Professional & MS Project Server; Symantec Antivirus; Video Conferencing (Polycom); Web Casting (Media Site Live); Remote Connectivity (Wireless & Virtual Private Network); Group Policy (GPO) Management; IBM/Lenovo Desktop and Notebooks; Compaq Notebooks & Tablets. **A criminal background check will be conducted.**

A well qualified candidate will be someone who has been a team and/or project lead for small and/or large projects and who has good organizational and time management skills. This individual should also have experience supporting a large customer base (2000+ employees) working in multiple locations.
