Spam in USENET group - 1 new

For the past 2 months every morning I have faithfully marked as spam every
spam message in comp.lang.fortran.There are typically 10 to 20 each day. Or I
would mark the sender profile as spam. Until recently the spam messages I
marked would always disappear within 24 hours. However last week they stopped

Gigi doesn't support subgroups, but Airset.com, another free groups service,
does. If you approach it the other way, you can create a group on Airset for
your school and a subgroup for each of the classes and more: e.g., subgroups
for all of the teachers and all of the students. (A member can be in more than

Spammers faking group owner's email address to post spams - 1 new

Hi, Any idea of fixing this? It becomes very annoying to see my group owner's
email address used to send spams to my list, it will drive normal members away,

Cannot login as owner and manager to delete my group that has been hijacked

I need to delete a group I created and largely forgot about. It has since been
hijacked for the purpose of sending obnoxious spam. I have the original Google
"welcome email" containing the link to manage the group but when I click on it,
I'm taken resolves to a page that says:- " Sorry...You have to be a manager
