ETL/INFORMATICA Developer (Must Have 2+ years of experience with Java SDK programming)

WASHINGTON DC ONLY

6+ MONTHS

 

F2F REQUIRED;

 

Consultant Should be atleast 10+ Years

 

Currently seeking a Sr. Data Warehouse Developer with solid Informatica - ETL Experience to work on a long-term project in Washington DC. 

 

Responsibilities will include:

 

.  Coordinate with client, Business Analysts and Reporting Team for requirements

.  Coordinate with Data Architect to understand the current ETL processes/templates used and new ETL requirements

.  Design, document, develop and furnish unit test cases

.  Move code for system testing and production along with developing a migration strategy document

.  6+ years of experience as an Informatica/ETL Developer using Informatica Powercenter 8x

.  4+ years of experience in Data Warehousing years of experience with Oracle 10G

.  2+ years of experience with Java SDK programming

.  Strong Data Warehousing and Datamart concepts and implementation using Powercenter 8.x

.  Extensive experience in analyzing the source system and development using various Informatica objects.

.  Troubleshooting mappings and workflows

.  Experience in writing Java SDK programs and calling these programs using Java Transformation in Powercenter

.  Strong SQL, PLSQL programming skills

.  Working knowledge of implementing database objects like indexes, views to speed up the informatica processes and coordinate with DBA's for database related tuning if required.

.  Proficient in working with multiple Informatica repositories, version control, mapping & folder migrations along with Informatica Administration  - required.

.  Experience in working with multiple assignments based on the priorities

.  Experience with Informatica Data Quality 8.6 is Preferred.

.  Good communication skills and is a team player.
