C++ Developer with Equities & Trading Experience

 

6 month contract

 

Durham, NC

Required skills: (Must have)
Minimum 3 years experience in application development or support role utilizing the following technologies: Unix, Windows, and Sybase or Oracle environments
Proficient in writing SQL queries, 3 years solid experience in Oracle or Sybase.
Familiarly with PERL and Unix shell scripting
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Minimum 2 years in technical support experience
BS / BA Required in Computer Science or related field

Desired Technical Skills:
HTML/ASP
XML
Sybase/Oracle
C++/C
Batch schedules (eg. ControlM)
MQ Series
Visual Basic

Background:
Equities Sales and Trading knowledge
Order Management and Exchange Connectivity knowledge
