Position: Senior Siebel Developer

Location: MO - St Louis

Duration: 6 Months

The Senior Siebel Developer will provide design, development and support for our enterprise CRM implementation. This position will also work with technical leads, analysts and business subject matter experts to understand business requirements, translate requirements into high level and detailed design, and develop and unit test solutions and support quality assurance, deployment and provide tier 3 support as needed.  The developer will need  to have strong configuration knowledge of Siebel Tools, Workflow, EAI, EIM, Integration Tools (WAS, MQ, SeeBeyond, Fusion, etc.), eScript, VB Script, Business Services.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the vendor partners and development team to design new functionality in the Siebel application.
• Adhere to best practices for standards for design, coding, and security.
• Evaluate business requirements against the Siebel CRM out-of-the-box capabilities and look for opportunities to adapt the business needs to existing functionality. Understand the trade-offs necessary and the technical impact.
• Turn high level designs into detailed functional and technical specifications minimizing the use of custom scripting to meet the business requirements.
• Own and maintain technical specification documentation.
• Develop and test Siebel solutions (configuration, integrations and data conversions) to meet business requirements.
• Perform performance tuning on Siebel application as required.
• Partner with application support to provide tier 3 production support where appropriate.

Experience:

• 7+ yrs experience working in an Information systems role.
• 2-4 years of integration development experience required.
• 2-4 years of Siebel development, integration, and maintenance required.
• OBIEE design & development experience is a plus.
• UCM design & development experience is a plus.
