Work within a team of developers to code, unit test, and perform defect fixes according to design specifications. Tasks to be Assigned: � Develop UI modules using GUI best practices according to agile methodology � Recommend best approach for developing complex user interactions focusing on application performance � Develop automated test scripts in support of regression and perfromance testing � Provide oral and written status to project lead and management � Provide guidance to less experienced members of the team Additional Comments We are seeking candidates with a passion for UI development and deep skills in JavaScript/CSS/HTML that can optimize UI code for cross browser compatibility and performance. An additional note from the manager: contractor will not need to be an expert in Java and UI at the same time. They will need to be strong only on front end technologies such as: HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. It is also a brand new application build, so much of the architecture and supporting components/libraries are still being evaluated, which makes it difficult to exactly specify skills beyond what I have listed in the job description.
