Looking for candidates that started their careers as developers (.Net, ASP ideally) and transitioned over to the analyst side. They won't be doing any programming, but need to have a high level of understanding of .Net that they would have obtained as developers. Some knowledge of AS400 environments is preferred.
Required Skills: ""Must"" have these skills to be minimally qualified
Knowledge of AS400 iSeries environment
Proficient in SQL Server 2005, DB2,Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
Ability to analyze complex data and extract meaningful, high impact change events
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Prior 2 - 3 years of Development experience in .NET, ASP
Prior 2 - 3 years of Analyst role experience in .NET, ASP
Bachelors Degree
Performs work related to information technology projects and enhancements. Work in a technical capacity while having a good understanding of business processes. Individual must demonstrate that they can work in a fast-paced, market-driven, and at times stressful environment. Must demonstrate ability to analyze complex business/technical problems, make sound technical decisions, and deliver solutions in a proactive, self-directed manner ensure objectives are met in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding criteria. Develops and revises system related documents. Provides numerical and graphical design support, e.g. , presentation materials and works on contributions to the development and completion of project deliverables. Implement production support best practices, change management and process improvements. Collaborate with other teams to provide analysis, design, and testing guidance and support. Fully competent to provide analytical support for complex information technology projects under general direction
