SUMMARY
Responsible to deliver the IT program and mega-programs assigned to them to manage and all of its supporting projects within one or more domains of Web Development, Oracle/PeopleSoft ERP and Revenue Cycle driven initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead large-scale, enterprise strategic technologies program or mega-program and their collective set of projects.
Lead two or more medium-scale programs to a successful completion.
Oversee quality and deliverables for program and its set of projects to assure high quality results.
Maintain positive executive client relationships to maintain client support and funding.
Review and approve project plans, budget forecasts to optimize budget and productivity.
Communicate status and escalate issues to executive sponsors.
Update and review project and program risk matrixes, conduct project quality audit reviews.
Establish collaborative teamwork across projects within program.
Manage executive vendor relationships to minimize impact of issues to quality, scope, cost, and relationships of program.
Approve infrastructure upgrade plans, software and hardware acquisition plans, development plans, system integration plans, implementation plans, support plans and deployment plans to proactively prepare for successful enterprise deployment.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 10+ years of working in IT organizations with a broad base of experiences that include software development, database engineering, network management, system engineering, data center operations, help desk, and project management.
Minimum of 10+ years experience managing implementations of large-scale, complex, multi-disciplined, cross-functional and highly visible projects, with budgets of $20 million or more and cross organizational teams over 60 people with up to 8 interdependent projects and/or 2 large programs.
Minimum of 5+ years of information strategic technologies experience working on Web Development, Oracle/PeopleSoft ERP and Revenue Cycle driven initiatives.
Must be deeply experienced in Project Management Methodologies.
Demonstrates extensive experience in executive client relationship management.
Proven success required working with executive clients on enterprise projects.
Prefer program manager with business management, IT operations or customer support, and technology development background.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills and previous experience managing large complex projects with multiple tracks.
TASKS
Develop, implement and maintain team metrics as needed.
Evaluate team metrics and make recommendations to teams and management for improvements.
Coach teams and management towards improving agile process and metrics.
Deliver Scrum training to existing and new scrum teams.
Evaluate and mentor existing Scrum teams.
Assist in the rollout and implementation of Agile in eBusiness.
Deliver Scrum training classes for product owners, ScrumMasters, developers and testers.
Maintain ASDLC web site.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or MIS or equivalent experience.
MBA or professional Certification is a plus.
MUST HAVE
7 years Project Management
3 years Scrum coaching
3 years Scrum training
CSC (Certified Scrum Coach) or
CST (Certified Scrum Trainer)
PMP a plus
