Here's a suggestion: In high activity groups, an immense number of message
threads appear after a while. Some threads might be kept for archiving
purposes for decades, but some threads become useless after even 2 weeks. For

Also cannot post from Google email address to group. I have changed main
address to my alternative email address out-with Google and this allows me to
operate in the group perfectly. Poor show from Google communications. Ron -

How do I block an email address that keeps sending me spam? - 2 new

My googlegroup receives a tremendous amount of spam from an outside spammer. I
would have thought that the process to block this address would be easy, but
despite my searching all over the group and the help areas, I can't figure out
how to do it? Can you please tell me how I can block a spam email address? I

Hi I have created a group (goodfincontent), have set up a filter on gmail to
forward a certain set of messages onto this group. However I am getting the
following error email from googlegroups Things work perfectly if I manually
post on the group, its just the filter which seems to be creating the problem -

After much trail and error, the issue appears to be a Mac to Google groups
issue. No file format( docx, doc, rich text, plain text) would cut and paste
from my Mac to the page I created, but when I pasted the same file from a PC,
it worked without issue. I hope this helps and please fix the the Mac to
