TITLE: Systems Analyst / Project Manager

LOCATION: San Francisco, CA

DURATION: 1 year

 

 

 

OVERVIEW:

 

Client needs someone who can document the AS-IS state of their Service Model for their Web Portal, create a TO-BE vision, conduct GAP analysis to define the steps needed that will get them from the AS-IS to the TO-BE state and then create a staffing plan and project plan that will allow them fulfill the objective of providing long-term, in house support for their large web portal.

 

 

 

NOTE: CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO SAN FRANCISCO, CA (NO EXCEPTIONS).  HIRING MANAGER IS GOING TO SET UP FIRST ROUND, IN-PERSON INTERVIEWS NEXT TUESDAY, OCTOBER 20TH THEN 2ND ROUND IN-PERSON INTERVIEWS WITH THE REST OF THE TEAM NEXT FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23RD.

 

 

 

NOTE2: FINANCIAL SERVICES (WELLS FARGO, SCHWAB, BARCLAYS, ETC.) OR  HEALTH INSURANCE (KAISER, HEALTHNET, SUTTER, BLUE CROSS, BLUE SHIELD, AETNA, CIGNA, ETC.) IS REQUIRED.

 

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

 

 

-Large Web Portal experience:

NOTE: the technology stack is J2EE, Websphere and Oracle

 

-Familiarity with Service Delivery Models, Production Support, etc:

 NOTE: Keywords are: ITIL OR ITSM OR "Service Levels" OR Tier I/II/II support, etc.)

 

 

 

UPDATE: This is exactly the type of experience to look for in this section:

 

-creating Support Model plans, workflows and processes

-Support Model Gap Analysis

-SLA definitions

-Escalation definitions (Tier I, Tier II, Tier II, Tier IV, i.e. escalation outside of the company to a vendor)

-ITIL or ITSM experience (desirable)

-Ability to create AS-IS, TO-BE, GAP and Data Analysis

-Ability to create Project Plans in MS Project and Staffing Plans
