Role Description:

Business Analyst. Under direction, work in a business analyst/customer support role which may involve the following tasks: *Act as liaison between the Information Technology department and other County departments, municipalities, and/or local agencies involved in the implementation, maintenance and modification of County-wide software applications, including Geographic Information Systems (GIS) & non-GIS based software and hardware, including custom and commercial off the shelf applications. *Provides support for customers on ArcGIS Desktop and data in a versioned ArcSDE editing environment, with assistance from a DBA. *Configure, test, implement & support Azteca Cityworks software, specifically, CMMS & CRM modules. *Conduct business process analysis and needs assessments in an effort to align information technology solutions with the business initiatives. *Prepare functional, system and programming specifications using industry accepted practices. *Participate in application testing and acceptance to ensure customer’s needs are met.
