VERY HOT CLIENT NEEDS Java Sybase Developer roles in NYC (Interviews happening next week!)

Good morning,

This is for a leading bank in NYC.

It is a long term (12 months +) project

Rate open

All candidates should be local to NYC as face to face interviews will happen next week, most likely on October 8^th.

Ideal candidate will have 5+ years development experience with recent projects in the securities business, with Hedge Funds product knowledge a plus, but not required. General broad securities knowledge a plus as well. Must have strong analytical and communications skills, and must be able to operate independently, interacting daily with users, peers, and management. Required technical skills are listed below.

Role will consist of gathering specifications, doing design, code, test, and implementation of systems in support of the AIMS business. The candidate will also become part of the regular support rotation,.

Project will include development work supporting the trading and portfolio platforms.

Experience / Skills:

• ~5-10 years of experience
• Java
• SQL (Sybase or DB2/UDB or MS SQL Server)
• XML
• Unix
• Knowledge of Hibernate a plus
• Knowledge of Perl a plus
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual
• Excellent communications skills
• Highly organized individual able to manage multiple tasks
