     This is Vysham from Sriven Infosys Inc, looking for consultants for below requirement.

Title: QA Tester with C++ Development/Coding experience
Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: 6+ months

 

·    The requirement is for a software development engineer to primarily do coding / development using C / C++.

·    Testing the end product will be part of verifying the product. A pure test engineer will not suffice.

·    Must have is VB 6.0 and ActiveX experience and knowledge. C/C++ and .Net are preferred. Knowledge of working with EVMs is preferred

·    8 years of system development or test engineering experience. This position (system test engineer) calls for the development of test plans test automation environments and test fixtures for systems. test methodology definition for testing of system designs board design of test fixtures to solve test problems.

·    Development of test plans and methodologies to reduce test time and increase test coverage.

 

Technical Abilities:

·    Knowledge of how to use electronics test equipment such as digital oscilloscopes digital multi-meters and logic analyzers knowledge of digiatl, analog and mixed signals systems and ICs.

·    In addition test automation some programming languages (C Perl RISC assembly and Tcl/Tk) test and scripting tools version control (Rational/IBM ClearCase preferred) and problem tracking (Rational/IBM ClearQuest preferred).

·    Work closely with the firmware design engineers in the group. occasional interact with marketing and the field as well as customers will also be required.

·    In addition execution of test plans on systems reproducing problems assisting in problem resolution with designers (including systems firmware and IC).

·    Production of released software and associated collateral (data sheets user guides application notes and errata).
