Cognos Developer

 

Location: Shoreview, MN

 

Rate: $40/hr C2C

 

Duration: End of Year+  

 

The primary responsibility of the Cognos Developer is to define, develop, and drive a reporting initiative from beginning to end. This includes defining the reporting data structures to meet the reporting requirements, identifying technical architecture to support reporting data needs and volumetrics, and leading a team of Cognos developers in the creation of framework models and reports to meeting the reporting requirements.

 

Skill Sets Desired
•Business intelligence data modeling – facts, dimensions, cubes
•Cognos Expertise in Cognos 8.2+ (preferably 8.4) - Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Event Studio
•Driving the reporting implementation from Operational Data Store to Reporting Data Store to Report Generation
•Business Intelligence Architecture Experience in Large Data Sets, preferably in Oracle
•Tune reports and data structures for improved performance

 

They are looking for a  Cognos 8.3 or 8.4 Developer / and Reporting.  Need to be a very strong developer with Cognos with 5+ yrs of Cognos skill.  Looking for 2.5 yrs with 8.3 and a few months with 8.4 would be ideal
