Below is the job description for the Statistical Programmer. Attached is a questionnaire that needs to be completed for every candidate. Please let me know if you have any questions. Hiring manager wants to get someone on board/started by 9/7. As well, this is a year long position.

The Sr Programmer Analyst is involved with full life-cycle software development, from research and proposals, thru designing and debugging, until implementation, education, and updates. You’ll provide programming support for ADS and TLG production, and assist with work flow and SOP development.

To be considered for this position, candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, and four years of pharmaceutical experience. The client will also consider a Master’s degree and two years of experience. You need working knowledge of global statistical programming standards and conventions, as well as emerging global programming and data interchange standards, and experience with clinical trial methodology. You need demonstrated technical skills with at least one statistical software package, such as SAS or S Plus, one UNIX Shell programming language, such as Korn Shell, and at least one relational database system. The client will be looking for people experienced with development and validation of programming systems. Travel requirements are minimal
