Our Direct Client a Management Consulting Firm is working on exclusive implementation for a Financial Service client that operates in the Capital Markets - Futures and Options Domain.
This is NYC with Initial
Duration of 3-6 months.
Rates: DOE.
We have 7 open roles. Excellent Communication Skill is a MUST.
Req #1. PROCUREMENT - Project Manager
Experience with full life cycle implementation of strategic sourcing, enterprise
procure to pay, internet-based supplier collaboration, practices and controls for
global procurement operations
· Experience defining enterprise Procurement requirements, policies and approval
workflows for procurement processes and systems
· Experience defining enterprise strategic Sourcing process improvement using
best-in-class sourcing methodologies.
· Experience with Demand Management process optimization, policy definition
· Experience in development and optimization of Customer Master and Supplier
Master, including data conversions and consolidations
· Experience conducting prototyping sessions in a Conference Room Pilot.
· Successful track record of definition, scope agreement, business case, deliverables
and timeline for global initiatives
· Risk and issue management, day to day delivery of project, change control and
Quality Assurance of deliverables.
· Strong Communication skills to engage clients at all levels.
· Experience with the Oracle ERP Suite (Finance, Procurement, HR) helpful.
Req # 2. PROCUREMENT – Contracts & Sourcing BA
Experience with full life cycle implementation of strategic sourcing, enterprise
procure to pay, internet-based supplier collaboration, practices and controls for
global procurement operations
· Experience documenting requirements, policies and approval workflows for
procurement processes and systems
· Hands on configuration experience with the following Oracle products helpful:
· Oracle Purchasing
· Oracle iProcurement
· Oracle Procurement Contracts
· Oracle Sourcing
· Experience conducting prototyping sessions in a Conference Room Pilot
environment.
· Successful track record of definition, scope agreement, business case, deliverables
and timeline for global initiatives.
· Experience in development and optimization of Customer Master and Supplier
Master, including data conversions and consolidations
· Strong Communication skills to engage clients at all levels.
Req # 3. ACCOUNTING RULES ENGINE: Business Analyst – Accounting Rules
Business Analysis and implementation experience with packaged or custom
developed Accounting Rules Engines is key for success on this role.
· Experience delivering full life cycle business analysis in a brokerage firm with
multi-GAAP, multi entity, multi currency accounting environment.
· Strong knowledge of business event to accounting event rules, as applicable to
exchange traded and over-the-counter derivative products, non-derivative foreign
exchange, equities and fixed income products in the cash market.
· Knowledge of Finance process flows, Regulatory and Management reporting
requirements, Finance reference data, reconciliation and control processes.
· Conduct requirements analysis and solution definition, collaborating and
leveraging subject-matter experts in Finance, Technology and product areas
(Front, middle and back office) and business analysts within the overall Finance
Initiative.
· Hands on prototyping and configuration experience with any of the Accounting
Rules Engine vendors – Oracle Financial Accounting Hub (FAH)/Sub Ledger
Architecture (
· Experience conducting prototyping sessions in a Conference Room Pilot.
· Experience with Data Enrichment and mapping, Finance Reference Data, Chart of
Accounts design is desirable.
· Strong communication skills with a proven ability to engage all levels of clients in
Finance and Front office, middle office, back office product areas.
Req # 4. ACCOUNTING RULES ENGINE: Data Analyst - System Analyst & Quality Analyst
Experience with capturing and analyzing technical requirements around Trading
event transformation, Data Enrichment, Data Mapping, Accounting Rules
processing, routing and scheduling of files and batch processes.
· Experience with Technical implementation of Finance Technology Architecture
components – Data Mapping, Reference Data, Conversion, Interfacing legacy
system to Oracle Apps
· Successful development of Technical designs from Functional Specs created by
functional users
· Testing of RICE components once developed by technical team
· Knowledge of front, middle and back office business events in a Financial
Services brokerage environment.
· Assist in selection of Target Data Transformation and Accounting Rules Engine
Platform. Knowledge of pre-processing(data enrichment, mapping, routing,
exception processing etc,.) required to present business events from legacy
brokerage systems to Accounting environments is highly desirable.
· Experience with data transformation engines like Informatica among others.
· Experience integrating product system feeds to Oracle ERP is desirable.
· Using a structured, systematic development approach that emphasizes quality
control is essential.
· Strong Communication skills to engage clients at all levels.
Req # 5 : ACCOUNTING RULES ENGINE: System Architect

· Strong understanding of online/batch processing performance considerations and
operating windows in a Finance Services environment.
· Testing Strategy of RICE components.
· Experience integrating product system feeds to Oracle ERP is desirable.
· Using a structured, systematic development approach that emphasizes quality
control is essential.

Req # 6 : Project Test Management : Project Manager
Experience with technical implementation of interfacing legacy financial system
to Oracle Applications Release 12.
· Experience with analyzing technical requirements for product system and legacy
feeds to the Oracle instance, routing and scheduling of files and batch processes.
· Experience with full life cycle implementation of Finance Technology
Architecture components – Business Event to Accounting Event transformation,
Data Mapping, Finance Reference Data, Accounting Rules/Posting etc., in a
Global Capital Markets environment.
· Track record of successful delivery the Testing component of Financial &
Regulatory Projects, across Business and IT.
· Broad knowledge of front, middle and back office business events for exchange
traded and over-the-counter derivative products, non-derivative foreign exchange,
equities and fixed income products in the cash market.
· Broad knowledge of end-to-end Finance Technology processing within a global
capital markets firm, preferably with ERP based Financial Architecture.
· Successful track record of definition, scope agreement, business case, deliverables
and timeline for global initiatives

Req # 7 : Reference Data – Technical Manager
Experience leading Finance Reference Data implementations in a complex Global
Multi-GAAP, Multi-Entity, Multi-Currency Brokerage environment delivering
streamlined Reference Data Architecture for Legal and Management Reporting.
· Strong Process and organizational experience having developed an operating
model to sustain a streamlined reference data model with Global and Regional
hubs to meet the growth requirements of the firm.
· Knowledge of creation and maintenance of Financial Reference Data and
Reporting Hierarchies from authoritative data sources. Experience working with
Functional Subject Matter Experts from Finance, Technology vendors to
implement Data Architecture integrated multiple Finance and product systems.
· Broad knowledge of Brokerage Industry product offerings.
· Experience with Mapping of Finance data elements from old to new Chart of
Accounts, Sub ledger data elements like Suppliers, Customers and Assets etc.
· Experience with data transformation engines like Informatica among others.
