Assignment Information Job Title: Data Analyst Years of Experience & Expertise Level: Mid to Senior Data Analyst (Grade6/7) Project Description: Implement single, off-the-shelf enterprise identity and access management solution for Intel and DMZ Daily Responsibilities: Data Analysts t work closely with business and technical development teams and Database Administrators to provide guidance and support on data design and data quality. Must understand the customer's business processes and system functionality to develop the data design and maintain the source of data. Responsible for creating or conforming to: . Entity relationship diagrams and/or other graphical data design representations illustrating data flow and extraction (conceptual, logical, and physical data designs) . Dictionaries that provide the semantic definition of all data and data re-use in accordance with current data policies . Data Definition Language (DDL) scripts . High-level data architecture documentation, which illustrates the source and destination of data to/ from approved data sources . Standards for naming data objects (e.g. entities, attributes, tables, etc.) . Data Quality Assessment documentation The Data Analysts will work with Software Quality Analysts, Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, and Application Developers to validate that the data to support the business requirements is accurately reflected in the implemented solution. The DA will evaluate data quality to select and use the highest quality data possible (i.e., data that is integratable, correctly defined, and current). Where business processes are not fully defined, they will work with Business Analysts to document the data flow and to influence the business process to ensure data quality. Necessary Skills (Must Have): See above Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have): Oracle product knowledge, identity & access mgmt capability knowledge
