Test Automation Lead//QTP Specialist (8-10yrs)

LOCATION : DENVER

Rate:$40 on c2c(max)

 

• Testing Concepts - L2 - Advanced testing Concepts
• Should have 8 to 10 years of software testing experience of which more than 5 years in extensively using Mercury QTP
• Should have experience in QTP Java and Web Add-ins.
• Experienced with QTP Data Driven Framework.
• Should have excellent hands-on experience in TSL (Test Script Language) and VB scripting.
• Should have working knowledge in test automation framework/architecture.
• Should have worked minimum two or more automation projects, where the scripts are client deliverables.
• Should have good attitude to learn new skills and adapt to the newer technologies.
• Understand the application which is being automated.
• Should create test cases, wherever required.
• Should create user defined functions, generic window functions.
• Should create automation scripts using the identified testing tools.
• Should execute the automation scripts and report the results.
• Should have worked as Automation Test Lead
• Identify areas which require modification and updating the scripts accordingly.
• Attend daily, weekly meetings.
• Train the new recruits in automation concepts and testing tools.
• Estimate effort for allocated modules for test automation.
• Create user manuals for scripts execution.
• Train users for executing the automation scripts.

• Good technical skills in Websphere Portal 5.1 / 6.1 and JSR 168/286 portlets, Core Java & J2EE (Servlets, JSP, JDBC).
• Working knowledge on frameworks such as Struts and JSF, IDE - RAD 7.0, Struts, JSF, Clearcase, Webservices (SOAP, WSDL), XML and Oracle. Knowledge of basic design patterns is desirable.
• User level knowledge on Mercury Quality Center.
• Should have good grasp of Development models.
• Coordination with offshore.
• Should be able to use Design tools such as RSA, Visio.
