Required Skills

 

• ·         Work closely with clients and business analysts to create a comprehensive End-to-End test plan for a multi-track team and oversee execution.
• ·         Understand and analyze business requirements for end-to-end testing and completeness, understand application integration points, interfaces, data requirements
• ·         Coordinate environment connectivity of different tracks
• ·         Coordinate timelines to enable seamless execution of end-to-end testing
• ·         Help prepare End-to-End test cases to validate data flow through the different systems and ensure interface interaction/ coverage
• ·         Monitor progress and communication amongst tracks during planning and during execution so that the tracks can be in sync about the interfacing scenarios (during planning) and be in synch about        involvement and test activities (who does what and when) during execution
• ·         Document defects found in Quality Center and work with business and developers to resolve them.
• ·         Develop reports in Quality Center (TestDirector).
• ·         Communicate with project manager(s) of different tracks on testing status, issues, risks, etc
• ·         Partner with client groups to ensure that the end-to-end testing strategy is understood, and that test outputs are analyzed
• ·         Experience testing batch application
• ·         Expertise in HP Quality Center

Job Description/Skills Required:

Working with requestors to ensure a solid understanding of the business requirements. Creating and/or enhancing (analysis & design, coding, testing, supporting UAT) an Eclipse RCP application to support the business requirements.   Typically the day will consist of working with people on the development to learn and understand the existing application architecture and nuances, as well as writing and testing Java/RCP code.   Several times as week (more at the outset) meet with the business analyst and system analyst defining the requirements to make sure you have complete understanding.   At least once a week there will be meetings to review progress and status with the business owners and project managers. Eclipse 3.4 or 3.5 is the IDE.   ClearCase is used for source control. Oracle is the database and we use SQL Navigator for ad hoc queries. Hibernate is the ORM engine.    There are no physical requirements such as lifting,walking,driving Strong Java developer with significant experience developing Eclipse RCP applications.    J2EE experience is also required.   this position does not require travel -Should be Domain certified.   Should have completed at least 1 VTP in domain. Person with 12+ years of working experience with 7+ years of experience on managing the complete project.

 

1. Runs complex projects/programs from design and development to production.

 2. Be the single point of contact for the program. Interact with Client management at regular basis.

3. Coordinate the onsite team – handle all on boarding of the team.

4. Defines resources and schedule for project/program implementation.

5. Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.

6. Plans and schedule project deliverables, goals, and milestones.
