PHP Developer

Required Skills:

Ø      Outstanding PHP and exceptional Javascript.

Ø      5 to 10 years professional web development experience. Strong analysis, design and implementation experience utilizing Web 2.0 technologies and relational database management systems.

Ø      Experience with PHP5, JavaScript and libraries/frameworks (JQuery), AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS, Oracle, SQL/SQL Developer.

Ø      Knowledge of Apache, nginx, Linux (Ubuntu), PuTTY/SSH, vi, agile development/XP practices, OO design principles and patterns, secure coding best practices.

Ø      Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) experience and iPhone app development a plus.

Ø      Excellent oral and written communication skills.

 

Duties/Activities:

Ø      Responsible for the development of Web-based financial planning software in a team environment.

Ø      Actively participate in all phases of the development cycle including implementation and maintenance.
