Title: Project Manager - Internet Applications

Description:

 

Our client, a global leader in the Media and Entertainment industry, is seeking an seasoned Project Manager with demonstrated experience leading Internet applications development efforts through their full systems development life cycle. This Project Manager consultant will report to the Program Manager and will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project management practices with the client stakeholders and within cross-functional client-platform teams. The Project Manager's primary task is to ensure the Internet Technologies projects are of high quality, completed on time and within budget, and meet the stakeholder and sponsor requirements.

 

Skills/Requirements

 

> PMP is strongly Preferred, but not required

> Project Manager should have 7-10 years of relevant experience in Internet Technologies and/or software development

> Outstanding interpersonal skills and a proven track record of managing multiple projects within schedule and budget

> Must be capable of developing and making presentations to stakeholders and sponsors

> Working knowledge of the PMBOK and hands-on MS Office and MS Project 2000 experience - is required

> Experience developing project plans that include multiple inter-dependencies among diverse projects and multiple customers - is required

> Experience developing a Statement of Work that identifies scope, requirements and deliverables

> Good understanding of WBS and critical path management

> Working knowledge of change management technologies and scope control methods, performance measures and experience with operational transitions and project closeout
