Summary:
Candidate will provide expertise to facilitate and support the installation and configuration of all Microsoft Servers including the following technologies: Active Directory, Microsoft SQL 2005 and 2008, SharePoint (MOSS and WSS), Exchange 2007, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Operations Manager (SCOM), Citrix Presentation Server, ISA, SQL 2005 and 2008, Clustering, Hyper V, VMware, HP Servers, HP SANs, Hitachi SAN. This position will work with our SCEIS SAP back end infrastructure. Candidate will be assigned projects by SCEIS infrastructure team lead. This team is responsible for insuring the Windows Severs are available, patched, updated, and maintained so we can provide the infrastructure for SAP services. This team is responsible for knowing the server landscapes (Production, QA, Dev, Sandbox, Training� etc.), the configuration of the servers in the landscapes, working with the Basis team, coordinating with management, and working on various server system projects as necessary.
This position will report directly to the Windows Servers and Enterprise Storage Systems manager for Infrastructure, Communications and Collaboration and may work in conjunction with other contractor(s) and DSIT staff.
Required Skills:
� 5 years administration of combined Windows Server 2003 and 2008 are required.
� 5 years of Active Directory is required, MOM/SCOM, SMS/SCCM is highly preferred.
� 5 years of MS SQL Server Administration required
� Clustering and virtualization is required.
� All skills are preferred and the more skills brought to the table the greater opportunity to achieve the stated bill rate.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
� Serve as a lead administrator for setup, configuration and deployment of all Microsoft Servers.
o Responsible for supporting all servers, systems, and applications for SCIES (SAP) infrastructure
o Act as technical liaison between DSIT Infrastructure team and SCEIS Basis team
� This SAP (SCEIS) functionality will be provided by the SCEIS infrastructure contractors already in place
o Customer site visits may be required (a valid SCDL will be required)
o Assist other technicians with daily configuration and monitoring of all servers, and configuring resolutions for customer problems and must be able to mentor junior staff
o Reports regularly to all DSIT Management
� Communicates effectively with technology staff and business stakeholders.
