Overview of Position:

 

�       Developer � Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server
�       The Microsoft SQL Server / Oracle PLSQL Developer will assist in the business analysis, implementation and support of interfaces for Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office systems.

�       Finance Services Software development background and experience in Microsoft SQL Server and PL/SQL are a must.

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

 

�       Will develop code using SQL, PLSQL, Stored Procedures, Packages in Oracle
�       Will design and develop, batch loading process in Oracle using PL/SQL.
�       Provide programming and business analysis support for the design, development, and application testing
�       Develop and review deliverables including requirement, design and test documents Collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve technical database related issues.

 

Must Have Skills:

 

�       3-5 years development experience with Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL Server.
�       Experience in Database Design and Performance Tuning a plus.
�       5+ year of professional experience Oracle and PL/SQL, preferably on UNIX
�       Excellent communication and writing skills.
�       Must be a team player.
�       At least 6 years experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle processes
�       Insurance and/or Financial Industry experience will be a PLUS
