Project Description:
Need some specialized reporting created for our customer issue tracking system. We already have a reporting infrastructure in place, and need an experienced programmer to help us write some automated reports in Access, as well as setting up some mechanisms to blast out summaries over email.
Daily Responsibilities:
Learn existing reporting infrastructure working with stakeholders on requirements
Developing report prototypes and reviewing with stakeholders
Programming Access VBA macros
Documenting the solution for long-term maintenance
Necessary Skills (Must Have):
Mid-Sr. level experience:
MS Access programming skills
Excel VBA Macro Programming
Excel Data Analysis
Relational Database Reports
Windows Server 2003 MS Outlook (for email capabilities)
Additional Skills Desired:
Issue tracking tools (e.g., ClearQuest)
Rapid prototyping and iterative development methodologies
Would be great to have someone familiar with Outlook/Exchange
