Oracle and SQL Server DBA

Location: Detroit, MI

Duration: 6 months +

Rate: Best

 

Project Manager. Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience administering SQL Server 2005 RDBMS and above as a Systems DBA. Additional experience administering Oracle 10g RDBMS and above is a distinct plus. Maintains and administers SQL Server RDBMS and Oracle RDBMS. Configures and sets up performance statistics metrics, and performs DB tuning and diagnostics to resolve potential Database issues. Implements Backup/Recovery procedures and performs Disaster Recovery procedures. Creates scripts to automate DBA tasks. Provides technical assistance to other DBA team members and/or application groups when requested.

Environment: Oracle, Oracle Recovery Manager, Microsoft SQLServer, IDMS.
