Title : Java developer with Yahoo UI experience
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 6 + months
Description:
·Design, development, testing and implementation of high performance/high availability Java based Portlet for local and international users.
·Must be a team player with capability to work in tandem with the development team, various Engineering teams and business users.
·Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are required. In addition the following skills are required.
·Candidate must have 8+ years of experience designing and developing java applications
·At least 1+ year of hands on development experience of Portlet and web services each.
·Experience in leading small teams of developers technically
· Experience in Requirements Gathering and Effort Estimation
Experience with the following technologies and concepts
· Object Oriented Design
· J2EE Design Patterns
· Web Sphere Application Server
· Java/J2EE (EJB, Servlets, JCA, JDBC, JSP)
· Web Development (XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
· Database Concepts (SQL, ER Diagrams)
· Oracle and/or DB2 database software
· Operating System - Windows, Unix
Experience with the following would be considered a plus
· Service Oriented Architecture
· IDE(Eclipse)
· Build Tool(Ant)
· jUnit
· Source Control Tool(VSS, CVS, Subversion)
· Software Development Lifecycle
· Informatica ETL
· Web Sphere Portlet Factory and Java Portlet Specification (JSR 168/ JSR 286)
