DB2/ORACLE DEVELOPER
Duration: 6-12 MONTHS
Location:
Need Only Locals. IN-PERSON INTERVIEW IS A MUST.
STRONG WITH SHELL, AIX, UNIX, SQL. SOME ETL/INFORMATICA EXPERIENCE IS A HUGE PLUS...
Need 5 to 8 years of experience maximum. The data set is not large (only a few gigabytes) but helpful if they have good knowledge of areas such as "tax laws", "holdings", and transactions.
Keys to role:
DB2 Database development
Oracle development experience
Solid SQL experience
Very strong Shell scripting skills (prefer AIX Unix experience) - expert level
Experience supporting Production databases
Experience with ETL/Informatica development and support - preferred
Minimum Qualification:
Minimum 5+ years of experience, with a Minimum of two years in data analysis/SQL Programming in Brokerage/Investment Mgmt area.
Strong SQL knowledge in a relational environment.
Oracle development
Understand UNIX Shell Scripting and be able to run basic UNIX commands and execute Shell scripts.
Strong communication (written and oral) and customer service skills.
Ability to interact effectively with in the Development Team and with Project Managers
Self-starter with ability to pick-up new concepts and skills quickly.
Goal oriented with strong business analysis skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to QA the Data with the help of Business Partners
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of SQL queries in DB2/UNIX
Informatica ETL/AIX/Shell scripting
Business analysis
Experience with reporting and Data Analysis in a BI environment
Business knowledge of Brokerage/Investment Management and Trust is a PLUS
Sound Knowledge of Data Modeling and Physical Data Organization
