Skills Required:  Knowledge of DB2 Version 9 for AIX Operating System. 

Must have experience with Quest Foglight and Quest Central.  Knowledge with IBM's Data Mirror product.

Position Description:

Perform database administration tasks using IBM's DB2 on Unix.  Responsible for physical databases for the DMIH project; design and implement backup, recovery, archiving and conversion database strategies; manage and maintain data in production and test databases; ensure efficient and reliable database performance; monitors database performance; tunes database(s) as needed.

Additional Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Work with development team and other database administrators to coordinate installations.  Needs strong communication skills.
