Hello, I have set up a group where people have to request memberships. I would
like to be able to do the following: a) send an automatic approval message if
approved - the message would include some information and links to certain
pages under the group b) Send a different custom message to people denied -

Hello, I have a question which people requesting memebership hae to answer.
the answer is used to determine whether the person should be added to the
group. Once approved or denied, the answers given by the new member seem to be
no longer accessible. It would be nice to have this information available as
part of the member profile. Any way to - Sun, Aug 30 2009 10:57 am

"Reply" Option - 1 new

Aldo, Thanks for your assistance. It's a quiet group that doesn't get much
activity, and sure enough, it went 60 days without a post, and evidently
became inactive. I followed your directions, forwarded an e- mail to the group,
and sure enough, now the "reply" option is restored. I'll try to ensure that

How do I change nicknames of members - 2 new
--------------------------------------------
Upon adding members, some foreign caracters (accents, &, etc) were converted
to strange combination of letters. Also some members only add their email
address that others cannot recognize the name. Asking members to manually
correct their info is not practical, as many members are beginners and only
send and receive emails, and often ask - Sun, Aug 30 2009 11:36 am

Google not processed list of direct invites - 1 new

Dear Aldo, Here are the numbers ... The second one is one month after the
first one. I appreciate that things take time - whether Google or not. However,
there needs to be a new mechanism in place on this issue:- - An email to be
sent out giving a way to follow up the request - A realistic rewriting of the
promised "1-2 business days" - Sun, Aug 30 2009 12:58 pm

how many members can I add per day? - 1 new
-------------------------------------------
That's about right. Over 10 you will get flagged and every new member, even
one, will be sent for review. Try ten new members at a time and you will be
safe. I hope Google changes this limitation and those who abuse it are dealt
harshly. Best of luck, - Sun, Aug 30 2009 9:39 pm

Open Invitations - 2 new
------------------------
I have 2 entries in the Open Invitations. I had a typo in the email and so
that record is sitting in the Open Invitation tab. I wanted this person to
receive the invite so I sent out a new invite with the correct email address.
Now I would like to delete the incorrect entry but am unable to delete the
entry with the incorrect email address. - Sun, Aug 30 2009 10:47 pm
