JobDetail Description:

EAD, GC or US Citizens Only Job Title: Java Developer with Performance Testing Experience Location: Chicago, IL Duration: Contract to Hire Looking for a Java Developer with Performance or Load Testing experience to work on an internal java application.
For the first 6 months the individual will be performance and load testing the application with some limited software development responsibility and then move into a solid java development role, designing and developing enhancements and performance tuning this application.
The manager is looking for someone who is doing java development now and also has performance testing or performance tuning of java applications in their background.
Previous experience with application monitoring tools for analyzing stack traces for java applications would be preferred.
Job Description: Java developer with the following skills and experience: Experience monitoring and profiling java applications Experience with performance/load testing tools a plus; jrockit, mission control, etc Experience with using Weblogic or other Java Application Server for executing applications Proficient in data retrieval and data parsing which follows defined message specifications.
Experience with Tibco or other data delivery system a plus Proficient in Oracle database SQL.
Stored procedures and triggers a plus.
Strong ability to learn existing applications quickly and to be able to make modifications to them.
Ability to work independently.
