Position Description:  Experience Level: Bachelor's degree plus 5-7 years related experience including familiarity with testing automation tools.   

 

Automation Engineer

 

 Minimum Qualifications

 

- Minimum 5 years related experience in a Web Services testing environment -Expert in QTP with min. 3 years direct experience designing, creating and managing automated scripts -Advanced experience in SOA including XML, and SOAP messaging -Strong analytical skills and the ability to successfully multitask in an interrupt driven environment

- Experience testing web-based applications

- Familiarity with the concepts and tools for bug tracking and resolution -Demonstrated ability to function throughout the entire QA lifecycle, analyze business and technical specifications and design test cases -Demonstrated strong and clear written and verbal communication skills -Demonstrated ability to work with all project members, including representatives from business and technical groups, in a collaborative environment –

 

Tools and technologies:

HP (Mercury) Quality Center, QTP, Web Applications, XML,CICS, JAVA, UNIX, VB, Share Point, Load runner, ClearQuest, MSOffice
