-------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello, I created a private group and subscribed some members. We have
successfully sent and received some messages. However, today I changed a
setting to 'replies are sent to the author of the message', saved the change,
logged out of my email, logged back in, and tested this change. 'Reply' is
still going to the whole group. Any - Sun, Nov 15 2009 5:11 am

I recently deleted the group I had made a year ago because it went from
opinions on a current situation to degenerating into a porno adverts place and
frankly I am DISGUSTED at the Google users who made it so. All of you who
posted porno and irrelevant ads on my group ...you know who you ARE. I deleted
the group so this sort of - Sun, Nov 15 2009 9:37 am

Can no longer manage group - 2 new
----------------------------------
Hi, Aldo, Sadly, no - I am aware of this option, but am unable to use it... I
was (am?) the only owner. Based on the Google Groups FAQ, I tried deleting and
re-creating a google account with this email address, but that did not help.
Any other ideas? Best regards, Vytas - Sun, Nov 15 2009 11:43 am

Can I delete posts - 2 new

Some messages posted to my group are off topic and some are offensive. Can I
delete these? I think some will offend new members and postential members who
might vew these discussions and choose not to join or to cancel their
membership. - Sun, Nov 15 2009 1:47 pm

Hello, The clue is: is the second "account" having a Google (group) account?
If the group is restricted - like you did - a Google (group) account is needed.
Actually, among the groups I'm managing, all with the setting "only member
can see the group content", those where Anyone can join are - Sun, Nov 15 2009

My google group settings allow anyone to join the group, and anyone to send a
message for moderation. All messages should have to be moderated. However,
people are sending "unsubscribe" emails to the whole group somehow. How is
this happening?? - Sun, Nov 15 2009 7:10 pm
