Urgent Requirement for Performance Engineer, Omaha, NE..

They need to be true Performance, not just a QA person who has run some Load Runner scripts...hope that makes sense.

 

Performance Engineer

 

Omaha, NE

 

3+ Months

 

Rate: $42/hr C2C

 

Required Skills:

Ø      Must be able to multitask and work with various technologies such as Unix, Linx, Solaris, MS SQL, Oracle, Weblogic and Websphere

Ø      Must be experienced in creating a Test Design or Plan.

Ø      Candidates who are dependant on the tool of Performance Center to supply all the information for them on a test are not qualified for this position.

Ø      Man-machine interface simulation. This requires experience in GUI oriented benchmark tools such as Performance Center, LISA or in-house developed.

Ø      Performance Center v.9 or higher experience preferred vs. Lisa or other tools experience.

Ø      Machine-machine interface simulation.

Ø      This requires experience writing custom benchmark tools in non-garbage collecting languages such as C or C++.

Ø      Education Required - College Degree or equivalent work experience
No# of Years Required: ? 5 years of experience performance engineering process

Ø      Preferred Skills: ?Working knowledge of tools like Sitescope, Nmon or BMC for gathering statistics

Ø      In depth understanding of performance engineering methods and tools

Ø      Excellent verbal and technical writing skills
