Location:  Chandler, AZ  

Job Classification:  Application Systems Engineer

 

Position Description:  Experience Level: 4 year degree plus 5-7 years experience. 

 

Candidate will provide Production/Platform support for EDGE application and Sales Call Center. 

Need strong documentation and coordination/project management experience and must be able to work independently.  Successful candidate will have the ability to switch seamlessly between projects/initiatives.

 

Some 24/7 availability required.

 

Responsibilities

 Design processes and scripts to capture monitoring events and alerts  Design monitoring GUI interface . Monitoring and developing of new monitoring tools and strategies

 24X7 on call responsibilities, including weekends and Holidays for multiple business lines  Communication to management  Trouble ticket work (Remedy/Pac2000) . Assists in after hours work for deployments, installs and fixes  Maintenance/support of database and reporting server environment

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 Strong communication skills written and verbal, with multitasking capabilities, and a good sense of urgency and prioritization  Strong follow through with little supervision  Unix (AIX, Solaris, HP) and/or Linux (Red Hat, SUSE, Fedora) experience  SQL Server 2005 experience  Advanced SQL skills  Perl Scripting & CGI Scripting  Understanding of TCP sockets  Understanding of reporting solutions  Understanding of call center environments

 

Preferred Skills:

 ANT scripting knowledge

 Websphere and/or MQ

 NetCool Experience (customized views)

 Web technologies

 Reporting technologies

 Monitoring methodologies

 

 

Platform and Skill Set Expertise:

Analysis Skills : Business Analysis
