Group ownership lost - 3 new

I have a group that I think I started under a Google account that I've now
deleted because the experiment I was running had ended. I thought the group
would be deleted as well when I did that. But now the group has become nothing
but porn spam and I can't access the ownership account to delete it. - Mon,

Marking as spam is broken - 1 new

... Some of us have to use GG for usenet (at work). Some groups are almost
totally unreadable: The first 50 threads on comp.lang.c++ this morning were
spam for fake pills and handbags. Google has good spam filtering technology (
see Gmail). Why the heck can't they apply that to the GG interface to Usenet? -

User can't post to the group - 4 new
------------------------------------
We only have about 35 people in our mailing list--all of them are email
address for our Google Apps account. One of our users is not able to post
anything to the group. We are posting messages via email. I've deleted the
user, then re-added the user manually and she still cannot contribute. What
could be causing this? Thanks! - Mon, Nov 23 2009 11:10 am

I have a similar problem. I currently have two ways in which you can sign up
to my announcement- only google group. The first is through the web interface,
which, when you click join it takes you to a page asking you to sign in or
sign up. The second is through a widget on my website (provided by google). -

Has there been a resolution to the issue of No Notification of Pending Members
being sent to group owners? I've seen a number of posts from group owners
stating that they too are not receiving Notification of Pending members but no
remedy. Thanks - Mon, Nov 23 2009 12:37 pm
