Four Year College degree Required

 

Associate would start at 395 location and then move to 195 Broadway location within a month or so. Manger is looking for a Sr. Level person, someone who can hit the ground running, flexibility in terms of timing,( 9-5 shift but may be asked to come in early one day or stay late another day.). Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Someone who is a team player but can also work under minimum supervision.

 

 

Scope:

§         Responsible for the administration and support of Thomson Reuters global messaging services, specifically Exchange 2003.

Duties and responsibilities:

§         Maintaining and supporting Exchange 2003 and Windows 2003 systems.

§         Troubleshooting and resolving Exchange 2003 problems.

§         Working with the Messaging teams to manage and support messaging services for Thomson Reuters global e-mail environment.

§         Maintaining Directory Services, Outlook Web Access, routing and transports.

§         Assisting in the management and support of Exchange 2003 servers and connectors.

§         Maintaining and supporting third party applications including E-Vault, Blackberry wireless and RightFax.

§         Troubleshooting and resolving Tier II and Tier III e-mail related issues following established protocol and procedures via the service desk.

Qualifications Required

§         Minimum fours years Microsoft Exchange E-mail experience.

§         Strong Messaging experience with expert knowledge of Exchange 2003.

§         Hands on experience setting up and configuring Exchange 2003 systems.

§         Expert knowledge in troubleshooting Exchange 2003.

§         Experience in Enterprise wide deployment of Exchange services backbone.

§         Clear understanding of messaging standards and protocols including Networking, TCP/IP, DNS, WINS.

§         Broad and thorough knowledge of Windows 2003 Active Directory.

§         Experience with Blackberry wireless, RightFax, E-Vault.

§         Must be able to proactively identify problem areas and provide or recommend solutions.

§         Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

§         Excellent customer service and communication skills.

§         Must be able to work independently or with a team/remote, under minimum supervision manage remotely.

§         Four years college degree required.
