Roles & Responsibilities
Job Title: Software Engineer Years of Experience & Expertise Level: 3+ years Project Description: Game development project exhibiting innovative game technology for Intel's next generation graphics system. Daily Responsibilities: Work closely with designers and other engineers to enhance and optimize our AI system and produce innovative game technology for Intel's next generation graphics. Responsibilities include adding and refining AI behaviors, improving situational awareness, and optimizing systems to fulfill the needs of our game production team. Necessary Skills (Must Have): 3+ years of professional C/C++ development Experience developing AI systems on a 1st or 3rd person shooter Independent problem solving capability and willingness to work on own initiatives Experience with debug and profiling tools BS in Computer Science, Mathematics or comparable experience Ability to work on a team and communicate well Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have): Familiar with various AI strategies - FSM, GOAP, HTN, etc Experience with modern revision control tools such as perforce, subversion, bug tracking tools, and others Familiar with Script programming such as Python or Lua Interest in the other areas of game development - writing game applications, tools or game engines
