     This is Vysham from Sriven Infosys Inc, looking for consultants for below requirement.

 

Position:   QA Tester with C# or C++ & JScript exp

Location: Chandler, AZ

Duration: 3 months (with options to extend)

 

Consultant Needs to Have C# or C++ Coding experience

 

Project Description:
HDMT program is developing the Tester Operating System (TOS) for a new tester. The software validation engineer will be responsible for the design, development and execution of tests to validate the TOS.

Daily Responsibilities:
Design, develop, modify, and execute TestComplete Jscript test scripts in order to validate HDMT GUI features. Enter/update defect records in MS Team Foundation Server defect tracking system. Interface regularly with development team members to troubleshoot issues (SW defect or test script defect) and utilize their knowledge of the features due to limited/out-dated requirement documentation.

Necessary Skills (Must Have):
Object-oriented programming, Scripting using MS Jscript, Functional test case development and execution, Visual Studio Team Systems 2008

Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):
Experience with TestComplete Automated Testing Suite, Assembly Test Tester platform experience (ie CMT, Teradyne), embedded SW testing

1)     1) Are you looking for a Tester with OOP and Jscript exp. or an Object Oriented programmer with testing and jscript scripting exp?

      either will suffice, but I want to make it clear that this person will be developing test cases (in script and/or source code) not just executing and there is a high probability they will need to look at OO source code to guide testing.  This is where the scripting and OO programming comes into play.  All of the GUI testing (primary role of this individual) is written in Jscript, but if help is needed in the data layer testing, test cases will need to be written in either C++ or C# hence the OO programming desire.  In addition, the documentation for the current implementation is very limited.  As a result, testers need to dig into the source code implementation periodically in order to determine functionality and what to test - again, this code is all in C++ and C#.

2)       The GUI testing scripts are all written in MS Jscript.

 The Validation role is not a business application QA role.  This person will be testing/validating an Operating System that will be used in testing systems.
