Location: New York, NY

Duration: 4 months 

Job description:

Responsible for Web Application installation and configuration, Product support and installation documentation, problem resolution tracking, software upgrades, application support and optimization, and project implementation planning for enterprise web applications.
Skills Required:
Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills.
Ability to learn and apply new technologies.
Interact with non-technical colleagues and communicate issues in layman's terms.
Document procedures for use by other engineers.
Excellent understanding and experience in deployment, management and troubleshooting of  ASP.NET applications running on IIS6
Familiarity with programming concepts and practices
Knowledge of C#, VB.NET, Javascript, and CSS
Deployment and replication of Code using Microsoft Application Center
Log mining techniques such as awstats and webalizer
Scripting using VB/Batch in MS for scheduling batch jobs
Version control systems: Subversion / CVS / Team foundation / VSS.
Ability to debug ASP.NET errors and log files
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL
Experience/knowledge of Web cross-platform (PC/Mac; IE/FireFox/Safari) development/compatibility issues is a plus
