Sr. Vignette Developer
Location: Portland, OR
Contract: 9 Months


May require occasional non-standard work hours to accommodate system upgrades and maintenance during off-peak hours

SCOPE:
Create and manage Content Template Definitions (CTDs), portlets, and templates
Administer Vignette software package, including installing, configuring and troubleshooting
Administer Vignette Business Integration Studio software (VBIS)
Optimize content coding for search engines
Provide support to CMS content authors
Analyze requirements, research options and design solutions
Ensure security requirements are met and policies are adhered to

REQUIRED:
Administering and developing for Vignette Content Management System version 7.3 or later
Developing Java J2EE, Java Server Pages (JSP) and JavaScript programs
Developing with XML and XSLT
Using and configuring web servers
Excellent software development skills and experience following the software development lifecycle process.
Troubleshooting and debugging skills
Ability to work well in a team in collaboration with developers, customers, project managers, and requirements analysts
Uses clear oral and written communication
Advanced analytical skills

PREFERRED:
Vignette DSM and Portal products
SQL and SQL Server
Proficiency in data architectures and design (normalized, dimensional, UML modeling)
