Location: Irving – TX

 

Duration: 12 months

 

Job Description:

·        Provide primary UNIX system administration support for development and test servers; these servers support back-end web and database functions.

·        Provide primary UNIX scripting support (e.g., PERL, shell).

·        Awareness of the following: NFS & CIFS File serving protocols LINUX & UNIX experience with NIS Storage and Data Backups.

·        Linux and Solaris system administration

·        Clear case administration

·        Scripting languages: one or more of PERL, C-Shell, KORN-Shell.

·        Bachelor*s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

·        7+ years experience in Unix/ Solaris/ Shell Scripting.

·        7 Years of software packaging and deployment in Unix like environment/ system V packaging.

·        6 Years of experience in deploying/ supporting OO Program based teams, Java, EJB, J2EE, JSP, XML, UML, JMS

·        Expertise in BEA Web Logic Platform with emphasis on Web Logic Portal (WLP).

·        Excellent troubleshooting skills and knowledge of WLDF (Web Logic Diagnostic Framework) and other performance and capacity tolls such as ClearApp Quick Vision.
