Requirement:
Extensive experience (at least 5-8 years) in Database Development usingMicrosoft technologies including MS Access and MS SQL Server 2000/2005.
Extremely proficient in writing/debugging/tuning SQL Server queries, Stored Procedures and related entities such as DTS Packages, triggers etc.
Proficient in using Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) methodologies and tools such as DTS packages, MS SSIS etc to load data in the form of flat files, CSV
files etc into a SQL Server database.
Ability to debug data problems related to data ingestion performed using technologies such as ETL/DTS etc.
Proficiency in using languages such as VB, VBScript and VB for Applications to develop and debug applications that use SQL Server as a back-end.
