Job Title: Linux Software Test Engineer Building Code/Site:  Hillsboro Estimated Length of Assignment: 3, 6 months Years of Experience & Expertise Level: 3-5 years Project Description: Wireless Linux Software Development and Testing Daily Responsibilities: Seek an experienced Linux wireless driver tester who is able to conduct the test setup including kernel compilation and network configuration. The candidate can facilitate improved testing upon existing test procedure, manual test execution, record results, defect reporting. He/she can execute the automation test, network debugging and able to provide the test log. Necessary Skills (Must Have): * Ability to build, load and use Linux Operating System * Knowledge of networking concepts regarding how to setup a network * Knowledge of how network data flows through to the internet * Experience with Test Plan & Test Case development * Linux C Programming skills as well as bash and perl scripting experience Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have): * Linux based WiFi and/or WiMax Test Experience * Ability to debug and troubleshoot wireless issues using sniffer to root cause problems.
